Amit International Limited submitted its 31st Annual Report for FY ended March 31, 2025, along with the AGM notice. On a standalone basis, operating income rose about 7.75% to Rs. 42.42 lakhs (from Rs. 39.37 lakhs in FY24), while total expenses fell roughly 15% to Rs. 26.12 lakhs. Profit Before Tax more than doubled to Rs. 16.30 lakhs, and Profit After Tax jumped about 88% to Rs. 12.57 lakhs (from Rs. 6.68 lakhs), lifting EPS to Rs. 0.066 from Rs. 0.035. The Board has not proposed any dividend. The 31st AGM is scheduled for September 30, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in Mumbai. During the year, two independent directors resigned and two new independent directors were appointed on November 20, 2024. The company is in textile manufacturing and exporting, and no change in business nature was reported.
The sharp jump in profit (PAT up ~88%) despite modest revenue growth shows meaningful cost efficiency gains, which is positive for shareholders on a small base. However, the secretarial audit flagged several filing delays under SEBI LODR (financial results, shareholding pattern, and corporate governance reports) attributed to server issues and RTA data delays, which may raise minor governance concerns. No dividend was recommended, so income investors get no near-term payout.
