3i Infotech reported Q3 FY26 consolidated revenue of ₹172.1 crore, down 1.6% sequentially, with EBITDA of ₹11.4 crore (7% margin) and PAT of ₹2.1 crore after a ₹3.4 crore exceptional charge for labour law-related gratuity. Profit before exceptional items was ₹5.5 crore, a sharp drop from ₹18.2 crore in Q2 FY26 and ₹40.6 crore in Q3 FY25 (though Q3 FY25 included a ₹39 crore one-time forex gain). The Application-Automation-Analytics (AAA) segment remained the main driver at ₹121.2 crore (70% of revenue), with US contributing 50% of revenue. Management highlighted ₹64.1 crore raised via rights issue being deployed into Centers of Excellence and government bids, while flagging an ongoing legal complaint over a ₹128 crore alleged fraud related to the legacy eMudhra (formerly 3i Consumer Services) disinvestment and a RailTel WiFi arbitration hearing scheduled for February 20, 2026.
Short-term results are weak with margins compressed and PAT falling sharply QoQ and YoY, but the company points to rights-issue-funded capability building and a diversified client base (top 20 clients now 51% of revenue vs 49% a year ago) as longer-term positives. Shareholders should watch the upcoming arbitration outcome and resolution of the eMudhra matter, both of which could materially impact sentiment.
