3M India reported FY2026 revenue of Rs. 5,090 crores, up 14.5% YoY, with PAT of Rs. 522.32 crores, up 9.7% YoY. Q4 PAT surged 201.7% YoY to Rs. 215.34 crores, boosted by lower finance costs and tax benefits from an Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) signed in February 2026. The APA resolution resulted in a Rs. 139.47 crore tax expense and Rs. 31.49 crore interest charge. EBITDA margin expanded 140 basis points to 20.3% vs 18.9% prior year, driven by operational efficiencies. An exceptional item of Rs. 34.33 crores (year) and Rs. (40.24) crores (Q4) was recognized due to new Labour Code implementation costs. The board recommended a total dividend of Rs. 506 per share (Final Rs. 160 + Special Rs. 346), subject to shareholder approval. All four business segments delivered double-digit growth for the full year, with Healthcare leading at 17.5% growth. The auditor issued an unmodified opinion.
Strong Q4 performance and margin expansion signal operational strength. The APA resolution removes tax uncertainty. The generous special dividend signals confidence. Shareholders should see positive sentiment, though the full-year PAT growth of 9.7% is modest compared to Q4 surge.
