Brickwork Ratings, as the appointed Monitoring Agency, has submitted its First Monitoring Agency Report for 7Seas Entertainment's Rs. 17.32 crore preferential issue of equity shares and convertible warrants. The company has received Rs. 7.55 crore so far, comprising Rs. 4.80 crore from equity shares and Rs. 2.75 crore (25% of total) from warrant subscriptions. As of March 31, 2026, only Rs. 2.11 crore (12%) of the total issue proceeds have been deployed - Rs. 0.16 crore for working capital, Rs. 0.24 crore for new project investments, and Rs. 1.71 crore for general corporate purposes. No capital expenditure for office premises has been utilized yet. The unutilized Rs. 15.21 crore is deployed in Union Bank of India short-term fixed deposits. The monitoring agency has confirmed no deviations from the disclosed objects of the issue and no material unfavorable events affecting viability.
The slow pace of fund utilization (only 12% deployed in the first quarter) is being monitored as expected for a recently concluded issue. The company has not provided an implementation schedule for the objects. The partial warrant conversion (25% received) means significant additional capital could flow in as warrants are exercised within 18 months.
