ICRA has reaffirmed the [ICRA]AA rating on Aadhar Housing Finance's Non-Convertible Debentures (Rs. 2,325.23 crore), long-term bank facilities (Rs. 1,250 crore), and subordinated debt (Rs. 60 crore), and revised the outlook to Positive from Stable. The [ICRA]A1+ rating on Rs. 600 crore of commercial paper has also been reaffirmed without an outlook. In total, ratings covering Rs. 4,235.23 crore of instruments have been reviewed. The outlook upgrade signals ICRA's improved confidence in the company's credit profile over the next 12 months.
This is a positive development for shareholders and bondholders — the outlook upgrade suggests ICRA sees stronger financial performance or improved business prospects, which could support the stock price and lower future borrowing costs.
