Aanchal Ispat Limited's equity shares will resume trading on BSE from December 17, 2025, under the XT Group in the trade-to-trade segment (scrip code 538812). This follows an NCLT-approved Resolution Plan dated March 27, 2025, under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. Under the plan, existing promoters were completely wiped out (100% extinguishment), and existing public shareholders had their shares' face value reduced from Rs. 10 to Rs. 0.10 before being consolidated back into Rs. 10 shares — reducing total shares from 2,08,53,750 to just 28,33,331. Additionally, 26,90,723 fresh shares were allotted on a preferential basis to the Successful Resolution Applicant. A lock-in of 19,83,332 shares runs until February 1, 2027.
Existing public shareholders suffered extreme value erosion through the capital reduction (effectively losing over 85% of their share count). The new shares are restricted to trade-to-trade settlement (no intraday trading), and a large lock-in until early 2027 limits near-term supply from the new promoter, though the temporary ISIN status may limit liquidity initially.
