Aaron Industries reported Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) results with revenue from operations of ₹1,924 lakhs, up about 12% from ₹1,719 lakhs in Q1 FY25. However, net profit fell sharply to ₹105.90 lakhs from ₹186.94 lakhs, a decline of roughly 43%. The drop was driven by more than doubled finance costs (₹67.75 lakhs vs ₹29.86 lakhs), sharply higher depreciation (₹94.28 lakhs vs ₹43.93 lakhs), and a one-time tax adjustment. EPS fell to ₹1.01 from ₹1.78. The Elevator Division grew steadily, but the Steel Polishing Division continued to post heavy losses of about ₹405 lakhs in the quarter. Separately, the Board fixed August 25, 2025 as the record date for a 1:1 bonus share issue, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM.
The 1:1 bonus issue is a positive for shareholders and signals management confidence, but the steep fall in profits despite revenue growth raises concerns about rising costs and the persistent losses in the Steel Polishing segment. Mixed near-term sentiment.
