Aavas Financiers has published its Q1 FY26 unaudited results, showing total income from operations of Rs 627.56 crore, up about 15.7% from Rs 542.39 crore in the same quarter last year. Net profit after tax rose roughly 10% YoY to Rs 139.2 crore from Rs 126.1 crore, with basic EPS at Rs 17.59 versus Rs 15.93. Assets under management stood at Rs 20,740 crore, while loan disbursements for the quarter grew to Rs 1,211 crore from Rs 1,145 crore. Gross NPA improved to 2.22% from 2.50%, a 28 basis point reduction, reflecting better asset quality. The company maintained CARE AA and ICRA AA long-term ratings (stable outlook) and operates through 397 branches across 14 states.
Steady profit growth, improving asset quality (lower GNPA) and a strong credit rating of AA/Stable are positives for shareholders. Modest 10% PAT growth and slightly slower disbursement expansion may limit aggressive upside, but overall the print signals stable operating performance for the affordable housing finance company.
