ICRA has placed Aavas Financiers long-term rating of AA on Watch with Developing Implications for bank lines of Rs. 3,398 crore and NCD programme of Rs. 800 crore. The short-term commercial paper rating of A1+ is unchanged at Rs. 250 crore. The watch follows multiple senior exits: CEO in April 2026, CBO in May, and resignations of CFO and CRO effective September 2026. The company has interim replacements in place. Rating is not yet downgraded and liquidity remains strong with about Rs. 2,114 crore in cash and liquid investments.
Rating still AA but under review after several top exits in quick succession; watch can swing either way, adding near-term uncertainty.
