Aayush Art and Bullion (formerly AKM Creations) reported nearly flat revenue from operations at Rs. 4,712.23 lacs in H1 FY26 versus Rs. 4,719.00 lacs in H1 FY25. Profit after tax, however, plunged to Rs. 36.65 lacs from Rs. 156.38 lacs, a drop of roughly 77% year-on-year. Total expenses crept up to Rs. 4,720.22 lacs, driven by a sharp rise in 'other expenses' to Rs. 140.44 lacs (vs Rs. 38.15 lacs) on account of a loss recognised on assignment of loans and advances of Rs. 29.18 crore sold for Rs. 8.26 crore. The statutory auditor Kapish Jain & Associates issued an unqualified limited review report. Balance sheet shows trade receivables ballooning to Rs. 5,688 lacs from Rs. 2,740 lacs, and net cash from operations turned negative at Rs. (144.48) lacs.
Earnings quality has weakened materially despite stable top-line, with profitability and cash generation both under pressure. Rising receivables and a one-time loss on loan assignment raise concerns about working capital health and underlying business sustainability.
