Abate As Industries Ltd (formerly Trijal Industries Ltd) announced its Q3 FY26 unaudited results along with a new independent director appointment. On a standalone basis, total revenue dropped sharply to Rs 41 lakh from Rs 95 lakh in the previous quarter and Rs 176 lakh a year ago, while quarterly profit after tax stood at Rs 27.89 lakh versus Rs 84.48 lakh last quarter (EPS Rs 0.02). For the nine months ended December 2025, standalone PAT was Rs 125.83 lakh. On a consolidated basis (including subsidiaries in India and Bahrain), Q3 revenue was Rs 4,253.13 lakh with PAT of Rs 276.90 lakh, reflecting that most of the business activity sits in subsidiaries. The company also raised its authorised share capital from Rs 157.60 crore to Rs 200 crore (20 crore shares of Rs 10 each). Lt. Col. Harikumar V, a 35-year veteran (ex-Army plus corporate manufacturing experience), was appointed as an Additional Non-executive Independent Director. Statutory auditor Mahesh C. Solanki & Co issued a clean (unmodified) limited review report on both sets of results.
Mixed signal for shareholders: standalone operations are shrinking sharply YoY, but consolidated numbers are healthy due to subsidiaries, suggesting the listed entity itself is a small contributor while growth sits in the group. The new independent director brings strong manufacturing and operations experience, which is a positive governance addition. Investors should watch whether the standalone business stabilises in coming quarters.
