ABB India has published extracts of its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended March 31, 2026) unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results in newspapers as required under SEBI listing regulations. For the standalone figures: total income from operations was Rs 3,184.06 Crores, compared to Rs 3,010.07 Crores in the same quarter last year (Q1 FY25), representing about 5.8% revenue growth. However, net profit after tax declined significantly to Rs 341.91 Crores from Rs 457.31 Crores in Q1 FY25, a drop of roughly 25%. Basic earnings per share fell from Rs 21.58 to Rs 16.14 per share. Total comprehensive income for the quarter stood at Rs 1,770.20 Crores on standalone basis.
Revenue growth was offset by a sharp decline in profitability, which could concerns investors. The stock may see negative reaction as earnings per share dropped significantly year-on-year despite higher revenues.
