Abbott India submits BRSR for FY 2025-26 with DNV assurance

Abbott India filed its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report for FY 2025-26 with independent assurance from DNV. The pharma-only firm reported turnover of Rs 6,846 crore and net worth of Rs 4,774 crore. It has 3,467 permanent employees and one Goa plant. New launches included Extensior (semaglutide) for Type 2 diabetes and Ezybixy for chronic constipation. The BKC office cut Scope 2 emissions by 73 percent versus 2018 baseline, and a 378 MWh solar plant was added at Goa. A GST penalty of Rs 2.40 crore (under appeal) and an RBI compounding of Rs 0.02 crore were disclosed.
