Abbott India reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,738.35 crore for Q1FY26, up from Rs 1,557.61 crore in Q1FY25 — a year-on-year growth of about 11.6%. Total income (including other income of Rs 72.84 crore) stood at Rs 1,811.19 crore versus Rs 1,624.94 crore a year ago. Profit before tax rose to Rs 493.13 crore (vs Rs 437.22 crore), and profit after tax came in at Rs 365.86 crore, up from Rs 328.01 crore (~11.5% YoY growth). Basic and diluted EPS stood at Rs 172.17 (vs Rs 154.36). The results were subjected to a limited review by statutory auditors Walker Chandiok & Co LLP, who issued a clean, unqualified review report with no qualifications.
Steady double-digit growth in both revenue and profit shows stable business momentum, though growth was below 15% for both metrics. Clean audit review is positive, but retail investors should note the change in statutory auditor from SRBC & Co LLP (reviewed Q1FY25) to Walker Chandiok & Co LLP (reviewed Q1FY26).
