The company has published its audited financial results for the quarter and year ended 31 March 2025 in newspapers, as required under SEBI listing rules. The company has recently been renamed from Abhishek Corporation Limited to Mahaalaxmi Texpro Limited after being sold as a 'Corporate Debtor as a Going Concern' through an auction under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code in September 2023. For FY25, total income from operations stood at Rs. 462.21 lakhs, sharply lower than Rs. 942.79 lakhs in FY24. The company reported a net loss of Rs. 2,528.52 lakhs for FY25 (after exceptional items) compared to a profit of Rs. 90,520.06 lakhs in FY24 — the previous year's profit was largely driven by one-time exceptional gains from the IBC resolution. Q4 FY25 alone showed a loss of Rs. 2,175.19 lakhs after exceptional items, with EPS of Rs. (64.55). Reserves fell to Rs. 388.84 lakhs from Rs. 1,687.07 lakhs in the previous year.
The steep FY25 loss is primarily driven by one-time, non-routine exceptional items linked to the post-IBC restructuring (derecognition of old liabilities, asset impairments), not core operations. Shareholders should note that the business continues to operate under new management post-resolution, but revenue has dropped significantly and recurring losses before exceptional items persist, indicating operational challenges ahead.
