Acme Solar Holdings, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Suryodaya Private Limited, has commissioned the third phase of 19 MW / 40.50 MWh capacity of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The commercial operation date (COD) for this phase is March 13, 2026. With this, the subsidiary has achieved a total commissioned capacity of 76 MW / 160.50 MWh out of the full 285 MW / 601.904 MWh project. This is the third in a series of phased commissioning updates, with prior intimations on February 25, 2026 and March 3, 2026.
Positive for shareholders — the company is steadily progressing towards full commissioning of a large-scale BESS project, which should contribute to revenue and earnings once fully operational. Remaining capacity of ~209 MW / 441 MWh is still to be commissioned in future phases.
