Acme Solar Holdings, through its wholly-owned subsidiary ACME Sun Power Private Limited, has commissioned the fifth phase of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Badi Sid, Phalodi, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, adding 33.334 MW / 160.48 MWh of capacity. The commercial operation date for this phase is April 08, 2026. With this, total commissioned capacity under the project has reached 166.670 MW / 802.460 MWh, which is about 56% of the full 300 MW / 1,409.34 MWh target. This is a continuation of phased commissioning updates shared with the exchange in March 2026, showing the project is progressing steadily toward full capacity.
Positive for shareholders — the project is moving closer to full commissioning on schedule, which should translate into incremental revenue from storage services and strengthen Acme Solar's position in the energy storage segment. Watch for the remaining phases to be commissioned on time, as full COD of 300 MW/1,409.34 MWh will be a key milestone.
