ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its wholly-owned subsidiary ACME Renewtech Sixth Private Limited, has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for 300 MW / 1,200 MWh of Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy capacity. The project will commence supply by May 28, 2028, at a tariff of Rs. 6.28 per unit with 85% minimum annual availability requirement. With this agreement, ACME Solar's PPA-signed portfolio increases to 6,570 MW out of its total contracted portfolio of 8,070 MW. The project will utilize existing night-time grid connectivity at high irradiation zones and supply assured peak power only during non-solar hours.
This contract win strengthens ACME Solar's order book and advances the company toward full portfolio monetization. The long-term 25-year PPA with a government-owned utility provides revenue visibility, though the per-unit tariff of Rs. 6.28 appears competitive, indicating execution efficiency rather than margin expansion.
