Ad-Manum Finance Ltd reported a strong Q1 FY26 with Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹377.80 lakhs, more than doubling from ₹177.34 lakhs in the same quarter last year (up ~113%). Total revenue from operations grew ~14% to ₹319.30 lakhs, driven by interest income (₹315.44 lakhs vs ₹268.57 lakhs), while wind power income declined sharply to ₹3.86 lakhs. The standout item was a sharp jump in 'Other Income' to ₹178.52 lakhs (from just ₹0.02 lakhs a year ago), which was the main driver of the profit surge rather than core lending operations. Earnings per share doubled to ₹5.04 from ₹2.36. The auditor (Mahendra Badjatya & Co.) issued an unqualified limited review report, noting no matters requiring attention.
Headline PAT growth looks very strong, but investors should note that the profit spike is largely fueled by a one-time-looking jump in 'Other Income' rather than growth in the core finance business. Core revenue growth is moderate, and the sustainability of this earnings level will depend on whether such other income recurs.
