Adani Enterprises has informed exchanges that Acuité Ratings & Research Limited has withdrawn the credit rating assigned to its Commercial Paper (CP) facilities worth Rs. 2,000 crore. The withdrawal was initiated at the company's own request. The stated reason is that there are no outstanding Commercial Paper facilities under such rating, making the rating moot. This is an administrative/routine action rather than a rating action driven by credit concerns. The attached press release from Acuité provides further details on the withdrawal.
Neutral impact for shareholders. The withdrawal reflects the absence of any outstanding CP obligations rather than any deterioration in the company's creditworthiness. Investors need not be concerned as this is a housekeeping matter.
