Adani Green Energy reported strong FY26 results with revenue from power supply up 22% YoY to Rs 11,602 crore and EBITDA up 23% to Rs 10,865 crore. The company achieved an industry-leading EBITDA margin of 91.2%, only slightly lower than 91.7% in FY25. Operational capacity surged 35% YoY to 19,294 MW with 5,051 MW of greenfield additions, including 4,613 MW at Khavda which is the world's largest single-location renewable energy site. Sale of energy jumped 34% to 37.6 billion units. Net debt increased to Rs 91,252 crore with net debt to run-rate EBITDA at 5.6x. The company is targeting 50 GW capacity by FY30 and has started adding battery storage (1.4 GWh BESS operational).
The results demonstrate robust execution with record capacity additions, but the slight margin compression and rising debt levels may concern some investors. The company's path to 50 GW remains well-supported by secured resources and funding. Strong operational metrics and ESG leadership reinforce its market position.
