Adani Green Energy Limited has commercially operationalized new renewable energy projects through its step-down subsidiaries. The company activated 1,990 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects and a 50 MW solar energy project, both located at Khavda, Gujarat. With this expansion, AGEL's total operational renewable generation capacity now stands at 19,785.8 MW, while its total operational BESS capacity has reached 3,366 MWh. The decision to operationalize these plants was made on May 25, 2026, with commercial operations starting from May 26, 2026.
The addition of nearly 2 GWh of battery storage and 50 MW of solar capacity represents significant capacity growth, which could positively impact future revenue generation from these assets.
