Adani Green Energy (AGEL) shared its Q1 FY26 earnings presentation, reporting strong year-on-year growth. Revenue from power supply rose 31% to ₹3,312 Cr, while EBITDA from power supply grew 31% to ₹3,108 Cr, with an industry-leading EBITDA margin of 92.8%. Cash profit increased 25% YoY to ₹1,744 Cr. Operational capacity expanded 45% YoY to 15.8 GW after adding 4.9 GW in the last year, and energy sales jumped 42% to 10,479 million units. The company reaffirmed its long-term target of reaching 50 GW of renewable capacity by FY30, with the Khavda project (5.6 GW operational) scaling up to 30 GW by 2029. Receivables remained healthy at just 2 days, and the company achieved the #1 global ranking in the FTSE Russell ESG score for the alternative electricity segment.
Positive for shareholders — strong 25-31% YoY growth in revenue, EBITDA, and cash profit, coupled with industry-best margins and rapid capacity expansion, reinforces AGEL's leadership position. The clarity on funding for 50 GW growth without dilution and improving ESG rankings may support investor confidence, though execution of the aggressive 50 GW by 2030 target remains the key watchpoint.
