Adani Power Limited has announced a change in the position of Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, a Key Managerial Personnel role. Mr. Deepak S Pandya, who has served as Company Secretary since August 2015, will superannuate (retire) effective close of business hours on March 31, 2026, after more than a decade of service. Mr. Puneet Bansal, currently the Group Head – Governance & Secretarial at Adani Group (since 2021), will take over as the new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer from April 1, 2026. Mr. Bansal brings over three decades of experience in corporate governance, M&A, legal, and ESG, having previously worked at Pidilite Industries, Grasim Industries, KPIT Infosystems, and the RP Goenka Group. The change was approved by the Board on March 17, 2026, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
This is a planned, orderly transition of a compliance role with an internal group-level successor already in place, suggesting continuity in governance practices. For shareholders, this is a routine administrative change with no expected material impact on operations or stock price.
