Adani Power reported Q4 FY26 PAT of ₹4,271 crore, up 64% YoY, driven by operational efficiency and newly acquired assets. Full year FY26 revenue stood at ₹57,865 crore (down 2% YoY) while PAT grew 2% to ₹12,971 crore. The company maintained robust EBITDA margins of 40% despite lower merchant rates and subdued demand due to prolonged monsoons. Q4 EBITDA rose 9% to ₹5,573 crore as fuel costs declined and new PPAs contributed. The company expanded capacity to 18,150 MW across 13 assets, with 95%+ now contracted under long-term PPAs. New PPAs of 1,600 MW from Maharashtra DISCOM and 600 MW from Tamil Nadu DISCOM were secured during the quarter. The company also issued ₹7,500 crore in AA-rated NCDs for expansion funding.
Positive for shareholders - strong Q4 earnings recovery with 64% PAT growth, improving contracted revenue visibility, and expanding profit margins. The company's locked-in growth pipeline of 23.7 GW capacity and high PPA tie-up ratio provides earnings visibility.
