ADC India Communications reported Q1 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs 4,510.87 lakhs, down about 7.3% from Rs 4,863.64 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Profit before tax stood at Rs 665.93 lakhs versus Rs 931.49 lakhs YoY, while net profit after tax came in at Rs 497.15 lakhs (EPS of Rs 10.81) compared to Rs 699.14 lakhs (EPS of Rs 15.19) in Q1 FY25, a decline of roughly 29%. Total expenses were Rs 3,923.91 lakhs, with employee costs rising to Rs 121.15 lakhs and finance costs nearly doubling. The Telecom segment saw a sharp revenue drop to Rs 285.70 lakhs from Rs 505.23 lakhs, while the IT-Networking segment, the larger contributor, held largely flat at Rs 4,225.17 lakhs. The statutory auditors (S R B C & Co LLP) issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications.
The YoY decline in both revenue and profitability, combined with compressed operating margins, signals near-term pressure on the stock; however, PAT did recover sequentially from the Rs 294.94 lakh low in Q4 FY25, which may provide some support. Investors should watch the IT-Networking segment, which now drives nearly all of the business.
