Adcon Capital Services Ltd reported Q3 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs. 61.99 lakhs, slightly up from Rs. 59.13 lakhs in Q3 FY25, but profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 8.74 lakhs from Rs. 32.93 lakhs, a ~73% drop. For the nine months ended December 2025, total income was Rs. 236.99 lakhs (vs Rs. 235.07 lakhs) while PAT declined to Rs. 85.22 lakhs from Rs. 164.85 lakhs. A major concern flagged in Note 7 and highlighted by the auditor in an 'Other Matter' paragraph is that the company has not recognized interest income on outstanding loans and advances of Rs. 3,673.32 lakhs, as documents to determine the applicable interest rate were not provided. Finance costs also jumped to Rs. 113.99 lakhs in nine months from zero in the prior comparable period.
Sharp fall in profitability and the auditor's red flag on non-recognition of interest income on Rs. 3,673.32 lakhs of loans point to asset quality/loan recovery concerns, which is negative for shareholders. Rising finance costs against stagnant revenue signal further margin pressure going forward.
