Aditya Birla Capital has allotted 1,30,000 secured, rated, listed, taxable, redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis to multiple investors on July 31, 2025. This includes two tranches: 1,00,000 NCDs worth Rs. 1,000 crore with a 1,142-day tenor (maturing September 15, 2028) at a 7.2959% annual coupon, and 30,000 NCDs worth Rs. 300 crore with a 1,826-day tenor (maturing July 31, 2030) at a 7.4242% annual coupon. Each NCD has a face value of Rs. 1,00,000, and both tranches are secured by a first pari passu charge on receivables, securities, and current assets. The debentures are listed on BSE and NSE.
This is a routine debt-raising exercise of Rs. 1,300 crore at competitive interest rates of around 7.3–7.4%, likely to support business growth and lending operations. Existing equity shareholders are not directly affected, but the additional debt will increase interest outflows and leverage over the coming years.
