Aditya Birla Capital reported Q1 FY26 consolidated revenue of ₹11,333 crore (↑10% YoY) and profit after tax of ₹835 crore (↑10% YoY). Total lending portfolio grew 30% YoY to ₹1,65,832 crore, while total AUM stood at ₹5,53,504 crore (↑20% YoY). The NBFC business posted PBT of ₹925 crore with RoA of 2.25% and improved asset quality (GS2+GS3 at 3.70%, down 75 bps YoY). Housing Finance AUM jumped 70% YoY to ₹34,605 crore with PBT up 82% YoY to ₹154 crore. Asset Management QAAUM grew 14% YoY to ₹4,03,479 crore with monthly SIP flows of ₹1,140 crore. Life Insurance individual FYP rose 23% YoY to ₹795 crore, AUM crossed ₹1 lakh crore, and net VNB margin improved to 7.5%. Health Insurance GWP grew 30% YoY to ₹1,357 crore with combined ratio improving to 111%.
The results show broad-based growth across all financial services verticals with improving margins and asset quality, particularly strong momentum in Housing Finance and Life Insurance. Management's multi-year targets (HFC RoA of 2.0-2.2% in 6-8 quarters, Life Insurance Individual FYP growth of 20-25% CAGR with VNB margin above 18%) signal confidence in sustained profitability expansion, which is positive for shareholder value.
