Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited (ABLBL) reported steady Q1 FY26 results with revenue of Rs. 1,841 Cr, up 3% year-on-year from Rs. 1,784 Cr in Q1 FY25. EBITDA rose 1% to Rs. 286 Cr with margins holding at 15.5%, while profit after tax grew 5% to Rs. 24 Cr. The Lifestyle Brands segment (Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England) grew 6% to Rs. 1,570 Cr with an EBITDA margin of 17.9% and a strong 15% same-store retail growth — its fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth. The Youth Brands and Innerwear portfolio (Reebok, American Eagle, Van Heusen Innerwear) posted 10% retail LTL growth and margin expansion of 170 bps year-on-year. The company added 50+ stores in the quarter, taking its total footprint to 3,230 exclusive brand outlets spread across 4.6 million sq ft and 38,500+ multi-brand outlets.
Results show modest headline growth but strong underlying retail momentum, with management flagging that margins would have expanded 280 bps excluding higher ad spends around IPL. For shareholders, the takeaway is positive same-store sales trends, store expansion, and margin improvement in newer businesses, though the closure of Forever 21 weighed on the youth segment's reported revenue.
