Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands (ABLBL) reported Q2 FY26 consolidated revenue of Rs. 2,038 Cr, up 4% YoY, driven by strong 12% retail same-store growth (LTL). EBITDA rose 12% YoY to Rs. 338 Cr with margin expanding 125 basis points to 16.6%, helped by better gross margins. Profit after tax swung to a positive Rs. 23 Cr from a Rs. 59 Cr loss in the same quarter last year. Lifestyle Brands grew 7% with margins improving 80 bps to 19.3%, while Emerging Business revenue declined 10% due to the F21 exit but saw margins expand 130 bps. For H1 FY26, revenue grew 3% to Rs. 3,878 Cr and EBITDA rose 7% to Rs. 624 Cr. The company added 75+ stores in Q2 and 125+ in H1 FY26, expanding its network to 3,256 brand stores across 785+ cities.
The results are positive for shareholders — turnaround in profitability, margin expansion across both segments, and sustained double-digit retail growth signal healthy operational momentum. However, rising net debt (Rs. 781 Cr to Rs. 993 Cr) and a decline in the Emerging Business segment are minor watchpoints.
