Aditya Birla Real Estate Limited has fully redeemed 25,000 (8.05%) unsecured, rated, senior, listed, redeemable NCDs of face value Rs. 1 lakh each, aggregating to Rs. 250 crore. The company exercised its Call Option as per the Second Amendment Debenture Trust Deed (30th March 2026) and completed payment on 4th May 2026 (the call option date). Principal amount of Rs. 250 crore was repaid along with a call premium of Rs. 4.50 crore (net of TDS, gross Rs. 5 crore). Final interest of Rs. 3.22 crore (net of TDS, gross Rs. 3.58 crore) was also paid on the same date. Outstanding amount is now Nil.
Full redemption of Rs. 250 crore NCD issue removes a debt obligation from the company's books, reducing its leverage. Bondholders have been fully repaid with premium, which is positive for creditor relationships.
