Ador Welding has filed copies of newspaper advertisements (Business Standard and Navshakti) publishing its unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025). Standalone revenue from operations fell to ₹25,054 lakhs from ₹26,815 lakhs in Q1 FY25, and the company swung to a net loss of ₹346 lakhs versus a profit of ₹2,077 lakhs a year ago, with basic EPS turning negative at ₹(1.99) from ₹15.27. Consolidated results were similarly weak with a net loss of ₹395 lakhs and EPS of ₹(2.27). Management recognised one-time provisions of ₹1,293 lakhs for cost overruns and ₹1,499 lakhs for potential liquidated damages on a delayed Flares & Process Equipment turnkey project. A final dividend of ₹20 per share (₹3,481 lakhs total) was paid in July 2025.
The sharp swing from profit to loss, driven by the delayed turnkey project provisions and weaker revenue, is a clear negative for shareholders in the near term. Investors should watch for further updates on project execution, any crystallisation of the ₹1,499 lakhs liquidated damages, and progress on the pending BIS compounding case.
