Advani Hotels reported Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) results with revenue from operations falling about 9.7% year-on-year to ₹1,992.37 lakhs from ₹2,205.55 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Profit after tax dropped roughly 35% to ₹235.06 lakhs from ₹361.23 lakhs, with EPS declining to ₹0.25 from ₹0.39. Operating margins compressed meaningfully as employee and other expenses remained elevated relative to softer topline. The statutory auditor (J.G. Verma & Co.) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. The board also appointed BNP and Associates as Secretarial Auditors for a five-year term from FY26 to FY30, subject to shareholder approval. Management flagged that hotel revenues are seasonal and Q1 is not indicative of full-year performance. Note that ₹831.95 lakhs was paid out as a second interim dividend for FY25 in June 2025.
A weak start to the year for shareholders, with both revenue and profits contracting sharply; however, the company operates a single Goa beach resort (Caravela) where Q1 is typically the off-season, so Q2 and Q3 results will be more telling. The dividend payout signals healthy cash generation despite the quarterly dip.
