Aegis Logistics' Board, at its meeting on March 26, 2026, approved issuing consent for assignment of rights to transfer its specialized ammonia storage terminal at Pipavav Port (36,000 MT static capacity) from Aegis Vopak Terminals Limited (AVTL) to ATPL, a subsidiary of AVTL. This follows the earlier June 2025 Framework Agreement with AVTL, under which the terminal was to be transferred to the Aegis-Vopak JV. A separate Business Transfer Agreement with ATPL will be executed once the project is completed. Detailed disclosures under SEBI LODR will follow upon execution of the BTA.
This is a procedural step within the already-disclosed JV framework with Vopak and does not change the economic substance for shareholders — the asset moves into the JV subsidiary rather than being sold to a third party. Shareholders should watch for the forthcoming BTA disclosure for final commercial terms, but no immediate material impact on operations or shareholding is expected.
