Sah Polymers Limited has responded to NSE's clarification request on its Q1 FY2025 standalone and consolidated financial results filed on August 1, 2024. NSE flagged two issues: (1) the XBRL filing wrongly showed profit after tax as Rs. -6,050.78 lakhs instead of Rs. 28.36 lakhs, caused by a data entry error where Rs. 6,086 lakhs was incorrectly entered in the deferred tax tab instead of Rs. 6.86 lakhs; and (2) the PDF financial results were not submitted in machine-readable format. The company acknowledged the errors and has now resubmitted corrected XBRL data and a machine-readable PDF. As per the corrected results, standalone total income was Rs. 2,431.33 lakhs with profit after tax of Rs. 28.36 lakhs (EPS Rs. 0.11), while consolidated total revenue was Rs. 2,941.99 lakhs with profit after tax of Rs. 29.60 lakhs (EPS Rs. 0.112).
This is a correction of a clerical/formatting error in regulatory filings, not a change in actual financial performance. The underlying results remain as originally reported in the PDF. Shareholders should not be alarmed by the earlier XBRL loss figure of Rs. -6,050.78 lakhs, as it was purely a data entry mistake. Minimal stock price impact is expected.
