Aerpace Industries' board approved its FY25 audited standalone and consolidated results, which show widened losses despite revenue growth. Standalone revenue from operations rose ~37% to ₹161.86 lakhs, but the net loss ballooned to ₹(483.67) lakhs versus ₹(129.35) lakhs in FY24. Employee costs (₹323.25 lakhs) and other expenses (₹319.89 lakhs) more than doubled, far outpacing revenue growth. Consolidated loss stood at ₹(739.43) lakhs. The company raised ₹1,932.77 lakhs via a preferential share issue at ₹44.36/share during Q4, bringing total equity inflows to ~₹4,254 lakhs for the year to fund heavy capex (capital work-in-progress of ₹1,341.79 lakhs, intangibles under development of ₹283.62 lakhs). New statutory auditor Ramanand & Associates issued an unmodified opinion, noting that FY24 was audited by a predecessor auditor. Cash balance fell sharply to ₹9.30 lakhs and operating cash flow was deeply negative at ₹(592.60) lakhs. The board also appointed a new internal auditor and reviewed progress on the aerShield defence drone initiative (ARM-5, ARM-10, and AMMO-R7 platforms).
Despite an unmodified audit opinion, the company is in a heavy cash-burn phase with rapidly widening losses and deeply negative operating cash flows, relying on repeated equity raises to fund operations and capex — a dilution risk for existing shareholders. The defence drone project offers long-term optionality, but execution and revenue traction remain unproven, so the near-term outlook remains weak.
