Ahead of Market: 10 things that will decide stock market action on Tuesday

Sensex surged 521 points to close near 78,285 while Nifty 50 gained close to 160 points to end at 24,430, adding over Rs 2 lakh crore to NSE-listed market capitalisation which reached around Rs 482 lakh crore. Gains were led by financials, autos, realty and oil & gas stocks, supported by stable crude prices, improving FII inflows and expectations of healthy private bank earnings. Technical analysts view Nifty as strong with next resistance at 24,800 and immediate support at 24,300, while market breadth was mixed with 1,578 advances against 1,769 declines on the NSE.
