Profit before tax jumped to Rs. 6,946.46 lakhs from Rs. 4,146.35 lakhs, a 67.5% increase. Net profit after tax (standalone) rose to Rs. 5,111.04 lakhs from Rs. 3,059.95 lakhs, a 67% jump, with EPS at Rs. 7.63 versus Rs. 4.57 last year. Consolidated PAT was Rs. 5,121.05 lakhs, also up around 67% YoY. The contract work segment remains the main revenue driver at Rs. 1,00,336 lakhs, while the auditor Amod Agrawal & Associates gave an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion.
Strong double-digit profit growth on single-digit revenue growth signals healthy margin expansion, which is positive for shareholders. The clean auditor opinion and absence of exceptional items add to the favorable picture, though the Q1 revenue growth is below 20% YoY.
