AIA Engineering has re-submitted its Q1 FY26 unaudited financial results after a minor correction — only a segment note (that the company operates in a single segment, High Chrome Mill Internals) was inadvertently hidden in the earlier excel file; all actual numbers remain unchanged. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations fell to ₹83,274 lakhs from ₹90,386 lakhs a year ago (down ~7.9%), while profit after tax dipped to ₹23,403 lakhs (₹25.08 EPS) from ₹24,667 lakhs. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew modestly to ₹103,895 lakhs and PAT rose to ₹30,517 lakhs (₹32.69 EPS) from ₹25,941 lakhs, aided by better other income and lower material costs. The auditor (B S R & Co. LLP) issued an unmodified limited review conclusion. Two material disclosures: the US Department of Commerce has imposed a 3.16% countervailing duty and 6.70% anti-dumping duty on certain Indian high chrome grinding media exports effective May 22, 2025, and the company has decided to discontinue operations at its Nagpur unit (management says no material impact).
The revision itself is cosmetic and should not move the stock. The real watchpoints are the new US anti-dumping/countervailing duties (a near-term headwind on US-bound exports) and the Nagpur plant shutdown. However, strong consolidated profit growth and unchanged underlying numbers suggest the core business remains healthy.
