Ajanta Soya has published its unaudited standalone results for the quarter and half year ended 30 September 2025 in Financial Express (Delhi & Mumbai editions) and Jansatta, as required under SEBI LODR Regulation 47. Total income from operations rose to Rs. 346.93 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs. 303.89 crore in Q2 FY25, a growth of about 14% year-on-year. Half-yearly revenue also climbed to Rs. 659.01 crore vs Rs. 575.10 crore in H1 FY25. However, net profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 56.75 lakh in Q2 FY26 from Rs. 79.22 lakh a year ago, and H1 profit dropped to Rs. 70.47 lakh from Rs. 120.96 lakh in H1 FY25. Basic and diluted EPS for the quarter stood at Rs. 0.65 (vs Rs. 0.98 in Q2 FY25). Results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board on 14 November 2025.
Topline growth is healthy but margins are under pressure, with profits falling despite higher sales, which is a negative signal for shareholders and may weigh on the stock in the near term.
