Akash Infra-Projects' board, at its meeting on August 14, 2025, approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Standalone revenue from operations surged to ₹1,258.66 lakhs from ₹592.08 lakhs in the same quarter last year, more than doubling. However, standalone profit after tax fell sharply to ₹10.59 lakhs (from ₹44.56 lakhs), and EPS dropped to ₹0.06 from ₹0.27, mainly due to higher material and finance costs. On a consolidated basis, revenue rose to ₹2,121.26 lakhs but profit after tax slipped to ₹17.63 lakhs. The board also appointed M/s. V. N. Vasani & Associates, a peer-reviewed firm of company secretaries from Rajkot, as the Secretarial Auditor for a 5-year term (FY2025-26 to FY2029-30), subject to shareholder approval.
Strong top-line growth is a positive sign, but the steep decline in profitability and EPS may concern investors. The secretarial auditor appointment is a routine compliance matter and unlikely to move the stock.
