Albert David Limited has submitted to BSE and NSE the newspaper clippings of its audited financial results for Q4 FY25 and the full year ended March 31, 2025, as published in Financial Express and Aajkal on May 14, 2025. For Q4 FY25, the company swung to a loss with a net loss after tax of ₹1,032.79 lakhs, compared to a profit of ₹1,291.26 lakhs in Q4 FY24, while revenue fell to ₹7,489.33 lakhs from ₹8,905.76 lakhs. For the full year FY25, net profit after tax dropped sharply to ₹1,720.08 lakhs from ₹7,542.01 lakhs (a decline of roughly 77%), and EPS fell to ₹30.14 from ₹132.15. The Board has recommended a dividend of ₹5 per share on equity shares of ₹10 face value. Results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board on May 13, 2025, with statutory auditors providing an unqualified review opinion.
The sharp drop in full-year profits and the Q4 loss are likely to weigh negatively on the stock in the near term, even though a ₹5 dividend has been recommended. Shareholders should note the significant year-on-year earnings decline of over 75%.
