Alfred Herbert (India) Ltd has submitted the Notice of its 105th AGM along with the Annual Report for FY2024-25 to BSE. The AGM is scheduled for Friday, 5th September 2025 at 10:30 AM via video conferencing. The company delivered a sharp jump in profitability, with standalone PAT rising to Rs. 623.04 lakhs from Rs. 72.26 lakhs in the previous year, and standalone gross income climbing to Rs. 1025.23 lakhs from Rs. 195.05 lakhs, driven mainly by dividend, interest, rental income and gains from sale of investment property. The Board has recommended a dividend of Rs. 5 per share on 7,71,429 equity shares, subject to shareholder approval. Items to be voted on include adoption of financial statements, dividend approval, re-appointment of Mr. A.V. Lodha (director retiring by rotation), and appointment of M/s Suprabhat & Co. as Secretarial Auditors for five years from FY2025-26. During the year, the company also saw KMP transitions, with Mr. Partha Pratim Das taking over as CEO and Mr. Ananda Bhattacharyya as CFO & Company Secretary.
The sharply higher profits and a Rs. 5 per share dividend recommendation are positive for shareholders and signal strong earnings momentum, mainly from investment and property activities. The completed Platinum-rated Green Building in Kolkata (with one floor already sold) and the post-year-end divestment of the Whitefield property suggest the company is actively unlocking value from its real estate holdings.
