Alivus Life Sciences reported Q1 FY26 revenue of ₹6,018 Mn, up 2.2% YoY but down 7.4% QoQ. EBITDA grew 9.9% YoY to ₹1,813 Mn with margins improving 210 bps to 30.1%, supported by a 400 bps expansion in gross margins to 55.1%. PAT rose 9.0% YoY to ₹1,215 Mn (EPS of ₹9.91). Non-GPL business grew strongly at 14.5% YoY, while the GPL segment declined 22.3% YoY due to customer inventory rationalization, and CDMO revenue fell 15.3% YoY on temporary demand dip. The company generated ₹1,000 Mn in free cash flow, taking cash and equivalents to ₹6,604 Mn. Management guided for high single-digit FY26 revenue growth with margins sustaining in the 28–30% range and stronger momentum in H2 FY26, backed by capacity expansion at Solapur, Dahej, and Ankleshwar and new growth levers in CDMO, Oncology, HP API, and Iron compounds.
Positive signals from YoY margin expansion and strong cash generation, but sequential decline in revenue, GPL, and CDMO segments may keep the stock range-bound near term. Long-term outlook supported by capacity build-out and diversification into complex APIs and CDMO.
