Allcargo Logistics reported its monthly business update for July 2025 across three main segments. LCL (Less than Container Load) volume stood at 774 cubic meters, rising 10% month-on-month but declining 5% year-on-year. FCL (Full Container Load) volume came in at 59,443 TEUs, up 9% both month-on-month and year-on-year, with gains in the USA, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and China. Air freight volume was 3,690 tonnes, jumping 28% from the previous month and 46% from the same month last year. Container utilization fell compared to last year, tracking the lower LCL volumes, while the company noted that global trade is expected to grow for the rest of the year in a stop-go pattern due to tariff concerns.
Mixed performance with strong FCL and air freight growth partly offset by a year-on-year decline in LCL volumes and container utilization. The tariff-driven uncertainty in global trade could weigh on near-term consistency, but the sharp YoY jump in air freight suggests a meaningful demand recovery in that segment.
