On May 16, 2025, the Compensation Committee of Almondz Global Securities allotted 13,61,986 equity shares (face value Rs. 1 each) to eligible employees under Series G and I of the company's ESOP 2007 scheme, following the exercise of stock options. The exercise price was Rs. 1.667 per share for Series G and Rs. 7.758 per share for Series I. As a result, the company's paid-up share capital rose from Rs. 17.23 crore (17,22,84,769 shares) to Rs. 17.36 crore (17,36,46,754 shares), a dilution of about 0.79%. The newly issued shares will rank equally with existing shares and carry no lock-in period. The company clarified that this allotment is not material in nature.
This is a minor, non-material ESOP allotment that slightly increases the share count (less than 1% dilution) and is unlikely to have any meaningful effect on the stock price. Shareholders should note a marginal dilution of their holdings, but the impact is negligible.
