Omega Interactive Technologies' board, at its meeting on June 19, 2025, approved adding two new sub-clauses to the main object clause of the company's Memorandum of Association, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals. Sub-clause 8 expands the company's scope into manpower placement, recruitment, training, staffing, and security services in India and abroad. Sub-clause 9 is much broader, covering the entire entertainment and media value chain — including film production, distribution, exhibition, multiplexes, content creation, AI and machine learning tools for audio-visual content, talent management, event management, hospitality, and related ancillary activities. The company, originally registered in the financial services space (CIN suggests NBFC/financial activities), is now formally opening up to diversify into staffing and entertainment/AI-driven media businesses.
This is a pre-execution step — the company still needs shareholder approval before it can actually start these businesses. If approved, it signals a major strategic pivot from its current core into staffing/services and entertainment/AI, which could reshape the company's future revenue mix but also introduces execution risk given the very different nature of these new verticals.
