Altius Telecom Infrastructure Trust has announced the results of a postal ballot in which unitholders approved all three resolutions unanimously, with 100% of votes polled in favour and zero votes against. The key resolution approves converting the Trust from a privately listed infrastructure investment trust to a publicly listed InvIT through a public offer of units (fresh issue, offer for sale, or a combination). Two other resolutions cleared amendments to the Indenture of Trust and the Investment Management Agreement, with the Investment Manager's board authorised to make further changes. Of 383 unitholders on the record date, only 10 cast votes via e-voting, and the voting window ran from April 1 to April 21, 2026. Total units outstanding were approximately 3.05 billion, with 95.71% participating in the vote.
Unitholders have given the green light for a public unit offering, which could increase trading liquidity, broaden the investor base, and potentially lead to a re-rating. The specific timing, size, and pricing of the public offer are yet to be announced, so investors should watch for further disclosures on offer structure. The unanimous approval indicates strong sponsor and institutional support for the conversion.
