Ambuja Cements reported its highest-ever quarterly sales volume of 18.4 MnT, up 20% year-on-year. Revenue crossed the Rs 10,000 crore mark for the first time, reaching Rs 10,289 crore (up 23% YoY), while EBITDA hit a record Rs 1,961 crore (up 53% YoY) with margin expanding to 19.1% from 15.3%. Profit after tax rose 24% YoY to Rs 970 crore. The company remains debt-free with net worth of Rs 66,436 crore and Crisil AAA rating. Current capacity is 104.5 MTPA, with plans to scale to 118 MTPA by March 2026 and 140 MTPA by FY'28. NCLT approved the amalgamation of Adani Cementation with Ambuja on 18 July 2025. Cement industry demand is expected to grow 7-8% in FY26, driven by housing and infrastructure.
Strong quarter with record volumes, revenue crossing Rs 10,000 crore, and sharp EBITDA margin expansion of ~380 bps signals robust operational execution and pricing power — likely positive for the stock. Continued capacity expansion roadmap and debt-free balance sheet provide growth visibility.
